Wanda Williams Wins Mayoral Re-election
Mayor Wanda Williams has won the Harrisburg mayoral race, defeating city treasurer Dan Miller.
Williams, the Democratic nominee and current mayor, campaigned against Miller to be the next mayor of the Capitol city.
She became the front runner on the Democratic ticket after winning out over multiple other Democratic candidates in the May primaries.
Miller, who described himself as a Democrat, received enough write-in votes as a Republican, but conceded the race within two hours of polls closing.
Miller conceded the race, securing Williams' victory.
