Odisha’s Khurda Road Division Achieves Record Freight Loading
The Khurda Road Division of East Coast Railway (ECoR) has achieved its best-ever freight loading performance, handling 183 million tonnes of total traffic.
The division handled 101 million tonnes of loading and 82 million tonnes of unloading up to October 2025, making it the top-performing division across Indian Railways.
ECoR said that Khurda Road’s achievement marks the highest-ever freight handling recorded by any division under Indian Railways this financial year.
This record helps the division maintain its position as a leader in Indian Railways performance.
