'Hero' train crew member who protected passengers during mass stabbing named

Samir Zitouni, known as Sam, a 48-year-old customer experience host, was working on the London North Eastern Railway (LNER) train from Doncaster to London when a mass stabbing occurred in Cambridgeshire on Saturday.

According to his employer, Mr. Zitouni "did not hesitate as he stepped forward to protect those around him" and has been credited with helping to save multiple lives.

His family said he has always been a hero.
