Young Canadians Anxiously Await Federal Budget
Many students across Canada are concerned about affordability as the federal budget is set to be tabled. The youth unemployment rate has risen to almost 15% in September, according to Statistics Canada.
Graham Baskin, a Carleton University student, is worried about his future after Prime Minister Mark Carney warned of "challenges" and "sacrifices" in the upcoming budget.
"We all want a reliable future at this stage in our lives," said Baskin.
Students are awaiting the federal budget, which will be tabled on Tuesday, with anxiety about their financial future.
