Yates County Legislature Committee Meetings
The Yates County Legislature will hold several committee meetings this week, covering various topics such as infrastructure, social services, public safety, and government operations.
All meetings will take place in the legislative chambers at 417 Liberty Street in Penn Yan and are open to the public in person or via Zoom.
Public Works Committee
Lawmakers will review ongoing projects in the Highway Department, Buildings and Grounds, and the county landfill.
- Highway Superintendent Doug Rapalee will provide updates on contaminated soil remediation at the Highway, Emergency Services, and Public Health complex.
- Progress on the county's "Safe Streets for All" study will be discussed.
