Fireworks Continue to Plague Preston

As Bonfire Night approaches, Preston continues to experience incidents of fireworks being aimed at members of the public.

On Saturday evening, October 25, police responded to reports of fireworks being targeted at people. This is not an isolated incident, as the last few weekends have seen similar events, including fireworks being aimed at volunteer police officers and the public in the city centre and other areas of Preston.

Recently, two 13-year-old children were taken home to their parents after being found with fireworks, which were subsequently seized. Witnesses reported seeing youths with fireworks on the bridge between Avenham and Miller parks.

I'm just walking into town minding my own business and this kid lights a firework and chucks it into the path.

Autor's resume: Fireworks plague Preston ahead of Bonfire Night.
