Ecorobotix Raises $150m to Enhance AI Software for Precision Spraying
Ecorobotix, a Swiss company, has announced a $150 million funding raise across Series C and D rounds, with $45 million in 2024 and $105 million in 2025.
The funding will primarily support the acceleration of Ecorobotix' Plant-by-Plant AI software, which enables precision spraying of crops, according to CEO Dominique Mégret.
- The company operates in over 20 countries, including the US, Europe, and Oceania.
- Ecorobotix is known for its ARA "smart" spraying systems, utilizing computer vision and robotics for precise application of pesticides and crop protection products.
The Plant-by-Plant system can distinguish each individual plant in the field and treat them using a spray footprint of just a few centimeters.
This technology potentially allows growers to save on input costs and reduce dependency on chemicals.
