This Remembrance Day, we pause to honour all those who have served and sacrificed in past and present conflicts. We reflect on their vital contribution to the freedom we enjoy today and offer support to serving and former members of the Armed Forces community and their families.
Many places of worship across Manchester will observe a two-minute silence. On campus, The Holy Name Church will hold a two-minute silence on 9th November at 11am. Please check with your local place of worship for their specific plans.
The North West Officer Training Corps, University Representatives, Multifaith Chaplains, and members of the university and public will gather in John Owen’s Quad at 10:45am.
