Sibiya’s Blistering Assault on SAPS Lies Ignites Corruption Storm
Suspended Deputy National Police Commissioner Lt-Gen Shadrack Sibiya has accused top SAPS leaders of lying under oath to the Madlanga Commission.
He demands the right to cross-examine National Commissioner Gen Fannie Masemola and KZN boss Lt-Gen Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi over claims linking him to a corrupt R1.2 billion tender and the dismantling of a key political killings task team.
In a sworn affidavit to the Madlanga Commission of Inquiry, he brands testimony from National Commissioner Gen Fannie Masemola and KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Commissioner Lt-Gen Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi as “false,” “implausible,” and deliberately deceptive.
