Eagles Acquire Ex-Pro Bowl CB Jaire Alexander from Ravens

The Philadelphia Eagles have acquired veteran cornerback Jaire Alexander from the Baltimore Ravens in a trade deal.

To address the issue of a revolving door at outside cornerback, Eagles general manager Howie Roseman has made another move, adding Alexander to the team ahead of the trade deadline.

Since parting ways with Darius Slay, the Eagles have struggled to find a replacement opposite Quinyon Mitchell. Alexander, a 2018 first-round pick, brings a high pedigree, including two Pro Bowl selections and two second-team All-Pro selections.

He posted 292 combined tackles, 12 interceptions, and 70 passes defended during his seven seasons in Green Bay.
