No injuries were reported after firefighters extinguished a field fire northwest of Kingsley, Iowa, on Sunday, Oct.
According to Kingsley Fire Chief Brandon Sitzmann, the fire began in a ditch at C-60 and Noble Ave. and burned around 50 acres, spreading north.
The cause of the fire remains unknown at this time, said Chief Sitzmann.
Fire departments from Hinton, Le Mars, and Merrill were called to the scene to help firefighters.
