Bennington Museum ABCs presents ‘Meet the Brighams’
On Thursday, April 25, at 1:30 p.m., Bennington Museum’s ABCs presents "Meet the Brighams."
This event allows participants to learn about Paul and Lydia Brigham through their newly installed portraits in the Center Gallery.
- Taking a close look at their paintings to imagine their personalities and thoughts.
- Exploring the contents of a piece of furniture from the Brighams’ dining room.
- Joining them for an imaginary tea party.
The program includes stories and art projects to reinforce learning.
By studying their portraits, participants try to imagine what they were like and what they may have been thinking.
