Paul Pogba's Potential Return to Monaco Matchday Squad
AS Monaco coach Sebastien Pocognoli announces that Paul Pogba could join the matchday squad for the upcoming Ligue 1 match against Paris FC this Saturday.
Pogba, a former Manchester United and Juventus midfielder, has been absent from football for over two years due to a doping ban and injuries. After a free transfer in the summer, he has been working on his match fitness, despite a setback earlier this month.
"It's possible he'll be reinstated in the group. There's still a training session with a certain amount of work, but if he feels well, we'd be perfectly on track. It wouldn't be unreasonable to see him on the squad list."
Pogba's last competitive game was on September 3, 2023, for Juventus. His potential debut for Monaco is highly anticipated.
