Alex Eala Exits Hong Kong Open
Alex Eala and Victoria Mboko faced off in the round of 16 at the Hong Kong Open, with both players visibly exhausted.
Mboko managed to secure a come-from-behind victory, winning 3-6, 6-3, 6-4 in a match that lasted 2 hours and 28 minutes.
Eala initially controlled the third set, leading 4-1, but Mboko recovered, tying the score at 4-4 and ultimately asserting her dominance.
Mboko, ranked 21st in the world and third in the tournament, dug deep to claw out of the hole.
Mboko's win marked Eala's exit from the Hong Kong Open.
