After 6 days of fun and a final half-pot total of over $2.5 million, the West Side Nut Club began their annual cleanup.
According to officials, many booths reported record sales, with the proceeds going to various organizations in the Tri-State.
“It comes and goes, it’s a little tough sometimes depending on the number of people and that kind of thing, but most of the time it’s smooth,”
stated a volunteer from Matthew’s Church, who has helped with the cleanup for over 20 years.
Around 300 active West Side Nut Club members and 100 honorary members aided in the cleanup process.
