Update on Pogba's Selection
AS Monaco coach Sebastien Pocognoli has provided an update on Paul Pogba's potential return to the matchday squad.
Pogba has been back in training after a minor strain suffered at the beginning of the month and is working towards his debut for Monaco and a first competitive appearance in two years after completing a doping ban.
"Paul is closer to a return than Denis, even if his absence was much longer. I had said that this week would serve to answer some more questions and every day is in this process. For the moment, things are going well, I expect it to be short term before I can see him back in the squad. When he returns, we will have to put a process together to judge him on the player he is now. The Paul of Manchester United or his first era at Juventus dates back several years now."
Pocognoli expects Pogba to make a return to the squad within the next week.
