Donor Confidence: Malawi Govt Secures USD80 Million for Food Support
Malawi's Ministry of Finance has secured USD80 million to support procurement and logistics for lean period maize, according to Minister of Finance Joseph Mwanamveka.
Government and the people of Malawi are grateful for the timely assistance which will help to feed hungry people.

- British Government: USD5.3 million
- Japan: USD3.7 million
- Republic of Ireland and Switzerland also contributed
- World Bank: USD45 million
