Embracing Life After Breast Cancer
Louise Butcher, a breast cancer survivor, shares her story of resilience and determination.
In March 2022, Louise discovered a lump on her left breast, despite having a clear mammogram just three weeks prior. Her husband, Paul, encouraged her to get it checked out, and although her doctor wasn't overly concerned, she was referred to the breast clinic for a scan.
While waiting for the results, Louise focused on her children, Oliver and Pollyanna, and her marathon training, which served as a welcome distraction.
