I Saw "Regretting You" Before Anyone Else... Here's My Hot Take

Early Review of "Regretting You"

I had the opportunity to attend an advanced screening of "Regretting You" and I'm left with mixed feelings. The audience was fully engaged, reacting to the big moments with gasps, laughter, and tears.

The movie is based on Colleen Hoover's novel and follows Morgan Grant (Allison Williams) and her teenage daughter Clara (Mckenna Grace) as they deal with the aftermath of a devastating accident that exposes a shocking betrayal.

As they confront family secrets and navigate grief, both women explore complicated romantic relationships that test their trust and priorities. The movie had some moving performances and moments that resonated, but I'm still unsure if I liked it.

The theater lights went down, everyone leaned in, and before long the audience was audibly reacting to the big moments, from gasps to laughter to sniffles.

Author's summary: Mixed feelings after watching "Regretting You".
