Two US Navy aircraft crashed into the South China Sea on Sunday, with no fatalities reported.
The first incident involved an MH-60R Sea Hawk helicopter, which crashed while conducting routine operations from the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz.
All three crewmembers aboard the helicopter were recovered by search and rescue teams.
A half-hour later, a Boeing F/A-18F Super Hornet fighter jet also crashed into the South China Sea while conducting routine operations from the USS Nimitz. The crewmembers ejected safely and were recovered.
