Alex Marquez (BK8 Gresini Racing MotoGP) secured a commanding victory at the Malaysian Grand Prix, finishing 2.6s ahead of Pedro Acosta (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing).
- Alex Marquez backed up his second-place finish in the MotoGP World Championship on Saturday with a flawless ride on Sunday.
- Pedro Acosta impressed with a P2 finish, while Joan Mir and Honda HRC Castrol took P3 after a late issue for Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati Lenovo Team).
Bagnaia earned the holeshot, but Marquez was aggressive early, demoting Bagnaia to P2 with a brilliant move on Lap 2.
The battle between Bagnaia and Acosta began on Lap 3, with the two riders exchanging positions at Turn 4.
