Manx Telecom Group and Jersey Telecom Group have agreed to merge, subject to regulatory approval, to create the largest full-service telecoms provider across the Crown Dependencies.
The combined group will serve customers in the Isle of Man, Jersey, Guernsey, and internationally, with plans for major investment in future technologies, including fibre, 5G, IoT, and managed digital services.
The merger is intended to strengthen service offerings and digital infrastructure.
The deal will be supported by CVC DIF, the infrastructure strategy of global private markets manager CVC, driving innovation and growth in the region.
Both Manx Telecom and JT Group provide telecommunications and digital services across the Crown Dependencies, and the merger is expected to enhance their services.
