Lynchburg Officer Commended for Saving Fourth Life
A Lynchburg communications officer, Samantha Mattingley, is being recognized for helping to save a life once again.
The Lynchburg Police Department recognized Mattingley's heroic actions on Facebook, where they explained that she guided a caller through CPR, helping the patient regain a pulse before the arrival of the Lynchburg Fire Department EMS.
- This is the fourth life Mattingley has helped save through CPR guidance over the phone.
- Mattingley also regularly donates whole blood, plasma, and platelets with the American Red Cross.
