Chiefs Chapel is changing what Sunday means for fans at Arrowhead

Chiefs Chapel: A New Sunday Tradition for Fans at Arrowhead

For years, many Chiefs fans had to choose between attending church and watching their team play at Arrowhead Stadium on Sundays.

In 2014, Chiefs owner Clark Hunt introduced the Faith and Family Chapel, located next to the southern corner of the stadium, to provide a non-denominational worship service on Sundays with home games scheduled at noon.

“What started as a simple pregame service has grown into something much bigger,”

said Cedric Hardimon, pastor at Life.Church East Kansas City. The chapel has become a meaningful part of the game day tradition for many fans, thanks to dedicated volunteers who create an authentic church experience.

The Chiefs Chapel now draws larger crowds each week, offering a unique opportunity for fans to attend a church service while still enjoying the game.
