Severe Thunderstorms Expected in Southeast Queensland
Residents of Southeast Queensland are advised to prepare for severe thunderstorms this afternoon and evening.

Following a dry and stable start to the month, the weather is expected to change, with severe thunderstorms predicted to hit the Sunshine Coast, inland Hinterland, and Moreton Bay area.
Aside from an outbreak of severe thunderstorms across the region on Sunday, 12th October, the start of this month has seen very dry and stable weather conditions.
The severe thunderstorms are expected to bring a significant change in weather conditions across southeast Queensland.
