Town of Bennington Projects for Week of Oct. 20
The following projects are planned for the Town of Bennington starting Oct. 20:
- East Road: Painting crew will finish painting traffic lines. Expect one-lane traffic in sections due to Highway crews working on road shoulders after recent paving.
- (East) Bridge #6: One-lane or detours will be in place while the State of Vermont/VTRANS continues the bridge replacement project at Beech St.
- Near Bennington College: Lanes may be reduced to one while a private contractor constructs a new roundabout for the STATE HIGHWAY department.
Motorists are advised to expect delays or find alternate routes.
