Nebraska Fishing Record Broken
Nebraska fishing guide George Thompson caught a 105-pound blue catfish from the Missouri River, breaking a 21-year-old record.
"We were hunting for that specific fish when we went down there [on Sunday]."
Thompson and his two sons launched their boat on the Missouri River, targeting a massive fish they had hooked the week prior. They anchored in a deep hole on the Iowa side and used a catfish rig baited with cut skipjack.
