Latest Stefon Diggs News Opens Door for Disappointing Patriots WR to Step Up
Week 7 will be a perfect opportunity for Kyle Williams to leave his mark.
After signing a three-year, $63.5 million contract with the New England Patriots in the offseason, there were serious concerns about Stefon Diggs' ability to live up to that deal.
He was coming off a torn ACL ahead of his age-32 season, and the Patriots' offense desperately needed him to turn back the clock.
So far, not only has he been remarkably healthy, but he has exceeded expectations in Foxborough.
Unfortunately, however, he is currently dealing with his first injury scare of the season, putting his status in jeopardy for Sunday.
Diggs popped up on the injury report earlier this week with a chest injury and has been a limited participant throughout the week.
On the final injury report before Sunday, he was listed as questionable for the Titans game.
Head coach Mike Vrabel doesn't sound particularly concerned.
