Leinster League Action: Five Kildare Clubs Compete
Five Kildare clubs are set to compete in the Leinster League this weekend, across Divisions 1A, 2A, and 2B.
Athy, still searching for their first victory, will face Wicklow in a crucial match that could determine relegation. Despite suffering four consecutive defeats, Athy has earned two losing bonus points and two four-try bonus points, placing them in 7th position.
- Athy vs. Wicklow: Saturday, October 18, 3pm @ The Showgrounds
- Cill Dara vs. Balbriggan: Sunday, October 19, 3pm @ Silken Thomas Park
Athy were narrowly beaten away to Tullow and at home to Tullamore and suffered heavy defeats at home to Boyne and away to Seapoint last time out.
Cill Dara remains undefeated after three games in Division 2A and is likely to maintain their record against Balbriggan.
