US President Donald Trump has stated Ukraine's desire to go on the offensive, saying:
“Ukraine wants to go on the offensive. I will make a decision on this, but they want to launch an offensive, and we will have to make a decision,”at a White House press conference.
Additionally, the US President plans to discuss the matter with Zelenskyy.
The transfer of Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine may be intended to pressure Germany into providing Taurus missiles to Kiev, according to the Kyiv Post.
The SVR has accused MI6 of leading Operation Spiderweb, while the Tomahawks are seen as an intimidation tactic for now.
