Upcoming MacBook Air and MacBook Pro Models
According to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, Apple plans to launch MacBook Air models with the new M5 chip in spring 2026.
Additionally, Apple is working on M5 Pro and M5 Max MacBook Pro models, which are expected to be released early in the year. Neither the MacBook Pro nor the MacBook Air models are expected to have design changes, with Apple focusing on simple chip upgrades.
A more significant refresh is planned for the MacBook Pro in late 2026 or early 2027, with thinner, lighter OLED models featuring touch screen capabilities.
