AI-Powered NHS Pharmacy to Become National Dispensing Hub
PillTime, an AI-powered pharmacy, is launching a Monitored Dosage System (MDS) hub to support community pharmacists nationwide.
Legislation allowing 'hub and spoke' dispensing across different legal entities came into effect on 1 October 2025, enabling pharmacies to outsource dispensing, including MDS services.
- PillTime has rolled out a pilot programme for community pharmacies to trial an MDS partnership.
- The programme uses AI and robotics to pouch medications.
