Man Found Guilty of Murdering Partner in Hot Tub
Aren Pearson, 41, has been found guilty of murdering his partner, Claire Leveque, 24, in a hot tub in Shetland.
According to the indictment, Pearson repeatedly struck Ms Leveque on the head, neck, and body with knives or similar instruments, inflicted blunt force trauma, and submerged her head and body in water.
- Ms Leveque, a Canadian national, was found with serious injuries and died shortly after.
The assault was described as "truly horrifying" and Pearson's actions as "cruel and selfish".
