World Cup 2026 Qualification Update
England has become the first European team to qualify for the 2026 World Cup after defeating Latvia 5-0 in Riga.
The qualification process involves six international confederations, with the goal of determining which nations will join England in competing at the 2026 World Cup in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
Qualification Process
Each of the 12 group winners will secure their place, while the four remaining berths will be decided in play-offs involving the 12 pool runners-up and four best-ranked UEFA Nations League section winners.

- Wales, Northern Ireland, and the Republic of Ireland have retained hopes of securing a play-off place.
