United States Grand Prix at COTA
The 19th round of the Formula 1 World Championship is taking place at the Circuit of the Americas (COTA) in Austin, Texas.
This weekend's event is the fourth Sprint of the season, offering 58 points, and is held at a venue known for its great atmosphere, with Austin being the "music capital of the world."
Track Description
The 5.413 kilometre-long COTA track features a combination of high, medium and low speed corners, two DRS zones, and an elevation change of over 40 metres.
- The climb to turn 1, a left-hander almost like a hairpin, is a key point for overtaking.
- Turns 12 and 13 are also crucial for overtaking.
