Hit-and-Run Incident in Ennis
Ennis Gardaí are investigating a hit-and-run collision that occurred on October 13, 2025, at approximately 6:30-6:50pm.
A young person was walking her dog on the Tulla Road, using the pedestrian crossing near the Certa Filling station and Coffee Rush. Despite having a green light, an unknown vehicle drove through the crossing, hitting her and her dog.
The vehicle failed to stop and continued outbound on the Tulla Road. Gardaí are appealing for witnesses, particularly those with dashcam footage from the Tulla Road.
