The Davie football team's offense did not produce impressive numbers, finishing with just 121 total yards, but it didn't need to. The War Eagles were in control all night thanks to their defense.

coach Brian Hinson said after a 22-7 win over Statesville on homecoming last Friday.
We've given up seven points in three games. We'll take that every which way we can. (The defense) played really, really great tonight.
Davie had to overcome some offensive issues.
