A man once convicted of forging a death certificate is now running a funeral business in Colorado Springs, and it's perfectly legal.
Adam Casey, who calls himself a "Mortuary Master," opened Casey's Home for Funerals in Colorado Springs earlier this year.

Despite his current success, Casey's career hasn't always been smooth, with a past conviction for forging a death certificate.
This revelation comes after Colorado's disturbing funeral home scandal in Penrose in 2023, which led lawmakers to vow to tighten oversight.
