Meghalaya Wins Against Arunachal Pradesh
Meghalaya achieved their first win in the U-19 men's Vinoo Mankad Trophy 2025-26, defeating Arunachal Pradesh by 71 runs in the plate group in Chandigarh.
After choosing to bat first, Meghalaya was all out for 137 in 40.3 overs. They then dismissed Arunachal for 66 in 17.3 overs.
Without Angkit, Meghalaya’s innings would have looked very different as he was the rock for the team on Monday.
Angkit Tamang played a crucial role, scoring 67 not out and partnering with Rudra Singh Rathor for a fourth wicket stand of 27. He faced 124 deliveries, hitting six fours and one six.
