Judge-Executives Discuss Illegal Dumping on WYMT's Issues and Answers

Three judge-executives from Perry, Floyd, and Pike counties joined WYMT's Issues and Answers to discuss a renewed emphasis on the Pride Program.

Robbie Williams, Scott Alexander, and Ray Jones are working together to kick-start the Pride Program, aiming to keep the Appalachian mountains clean.

I tell folks we need to showcase Eastern Kentucky. We not only have a beautiful landscape, we have beautiful people in Eastern Kentucky.

According to Judge-Executive Ray Jones, educating children is key to addressing the issue of illegal dumping:

We've got to do a better job of educating our children and our citizens about the importance of keeping our communities clean, protecting our waterways, because the future of the region depends on that.

Other topics discussed included disaster recovery funds, tourism, and restaurant tax.
