Rory McIlroy expressed skepticism about the possibility of a merger between the PGA Tour and LIV Golf. He highlighted that such a deal seems unlikely while the Saudi-backed LIV Golf continues to spend money "irrationally."
"It will be difficult for the PGA Tour and LIV Golf to reach an agreement so long as the Saudi-backed league is filing to spend irrationally," McIlroy said.
McIlroy, a prominent figure in the golf world, implied that the financial approach of LIV Golf creates significant challenges for negotiation.
