Victorian team secures place in Scania’s ‘Top Team’ Asian Regional finals

Victorian Team Advances to Scania’s Top Team Asian Finals

The Dandenong Branch team from Scania’s company-owned network has secured victory in the Australian National Top Team competition for the second consecutive year. Their achievement grants them a place in the upcoming Asian Regional Finals, to be held in Bangkok in early 2026. There, they will compete to earn one of two available spots in the World Finals in Sweden.

Seven teams from Scania’s Australian branches participated in the National Finals after a knockout round involving eight additional teams from across the country. The event took place at Scania’s Campbellfield head office in late October.

“Top Team is a global Scania initiative that celebrates and develops the professionalism of our service teams, strengthening technical capability, efficiency, and collaboration within our workshops,”

said Stefan Weber, Director of Aftersales at Scania Australia, who supervised the competition.

Led by team captain Chris Chilver, Team Dandenong triumphed again, maintaining their strong performance. Chilver described this year’s challenge as the toughest of his four Top Team competitions.

“We had great team spirit and didn’t let low scores affect us. We knew it would be a demanding contest, so we focused, played to our strengths, and worked well together,”

shared Chris.
