League of Legends Esports continues to captivate fans worldwide as Worlds 2025 approaches its grand finale. The decisive showdown between T1 and KT Rolster promises to be the most iconic Telecom War yet, scheduled for next Sunday.
Each year, Riot Games awards special Worlds skins to the five players from the winning team. To qualify, a player must have used a champion at least once during the tournament, be it in the Swiss stage, Play-In, or Knockout rounds. Riot typically encourages players to avoid repeating champions that already have a Worlds skin, though exceptions may apply.
As of now, KT Rolster has competed in eleven matches, while T1 has played nineteen, including their Play-In games. This broader experience has allowed T1 to use 44 different champions, compared to 32 for KT Rolster. Despite this, both teams share 30 champions in common.
“If T1 wins their third consecutive Worlds title this Sunday, Lee ‘Faker’ Sang-hyeok would then have 10 skins in the game, considering he already owns skins for more than one third of all the champions in League of Legends.”
Such an achievement would further solidify Faker’s legacy as one of the most decorated players in the history of the game.
T1 and KT Rolster prepare for an epic Worlds 2025 finale, with Riot set to select winning team champions for Worlds skins, continuing the long-standing League of Legends tradition.
