The No. 9 Harvard football team dominated the field on Friday night, defeating the Columbia Lions 31-14 in New York City and improving their record to 8-0. The Crimson showcased their strength and skill, reinforcing their position as leaders in the Ivy League.
"This week was a challenging week, short week. A lot of people telling us how great we are in the media and to get the win and get out of here and play how we did in the first half, I'm just relieved and excited to get to the next one," said Head Coach Andrew Aurich.
With this victory, Harvard extends its undefeated streak to eight games, marking the first time since 2015 that the team has opened a season with eight straight wins. Their Ivy League record now stands at 5-0, confirming their dominance in the conference.
