Family Confirms Death Of Evangelist Uma Ukpai At 80
The family of renowned international evangelist and founder of the Uma Ukpai Evangelistic Association, Rev. Dr Uma Ukpai, has confirmed his passing.
Ukpai was said to have “passed on to glory” on October 6, 2025, at the age of 80. The family described him as “a faithful soldier of the cross,” and noted that he devoted more than six decades of his life to evangelism, teaching, and prophetic demonstrations of God's power.
“With hearts full of gratitude, we celebrate the triumphant homegoing of Rev. Uma Ukpai, who passed on to glory on October 6, 2025, at the age of 80.
According to the statement, Ukpai’s ministry touched millions of lives and transformed destinies across Nigeria and beyond.
