Jacob Elordi, known for his role in Frankenstein, features in a new campaign for Bottega Veneta photographed by the renowned Duane Michals. This collaboration marks the fashion house’s latest artistic engagement, partnering with the 93-year-old photographer.
The photoshoot took place in Michals’s Gramercy Park living room, where he captured black-and-white portraits of Elordi. The actor interacts with surreal props like flowers, a feather, tree branches, and a distorting mirror, reflecting Michals’s signature style.
The images, accompanied by a behind-the-scenes film, debuted in the "What Are Dreams" campaign. Bottega Veneta appointed Elordi as their brand ambassador in 2024, emphasizing his connection to the brand’s artistic direction.
“It is our enigmatic fate that we must dream in time and wait,” Elordi softly recites, while piano music plays in the background.
The film shows Elordi seated in a rocking chair, reading a poem penned by Michals, adding a literary and contemplative tone to the campaign.
