Esports organizer StarLadder has confirmed a partnership with gaming peripherals brand ZOWIE for the upcoming StarLadder Budapest Major 2025, a Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) tournament officially sanctioned by Valve.
ZOWIE will serve as the official monitor partner, supplying its XL2586X+ gaming monitors for all three stages of the tournament and the playoffs. This ensures players experience consistent, high-quality performance throughout the event.
“88% of professional players are using [ZOWIE] monitors in online and offline competitions,” says ZOWIE.
The Budapest Major will run from November 24 to December 14, 2025. It will feature the world's top 32 teams competing for a $1.25 million (approximately £953,937) prize pool, along with the opportunity to secure a place in Counter-Strike history.
This is not the first collaboration between ZOWIE and StarLadder; they also partnered during the 2019 Berlin Major. For the Budapest Major, ZOWIE joins Esports Charts, which became the official analytics partner in July 2025.
ZOWIE is well-established within the Counter-Strike esports scene, supporting numerous Tier 1 events over the past ten years.
