Joji Announces New Album and Releases Second Single
Joji, the praised singer, songwriter, and producer who started as a YouTuber, is returning with new music. His fourth studio album, Piss in the Wind, is scheduled for release on February 6, 2026, through Palace Creek.
This album connects his earlier style with his current sound, blending melancholic and introspective lyrics with gritty, atmospheric production.

Earlier this month, Joji released the first single from the album, “PIXELATED KISSES,” his first new track since 2022’s SMITHEREENS. The single quickly gained millions of streams worldwide and entered the Billboard Hot 100 chart, now reaching nearly 50 million streams.
On November 5th, Joji shared “It It Only Gets Better,” the album’s second single. This song reflects his lo-fi beginnings, combining acoustic guitar, syncopated bass, and soaring harmonies. The track is accompanied by a video directed by James Mao, which creatively references Joji’s breakout track “YEAH RIGHT” from the 2018 album BALLADS 1. The video contrasts energetic, club-like visuals with simple, contemplative lyrics.
