Brown was wanted for several months for his involvement in a shooting that occurred on May 16 near an amateur boxing event in Miami’s Little Haiti neighborhood. Videos captured at the scene suggest the former NFL wide receiver was involved in a fight shortly before multiple gunshots were fired.
Just last week, Brown, 37, posted a sponsored video to his 15 million Instagram followers, promoting the online betting site BC Game. The clip showed him driving a black Lamborghini at an undisclosed location, appearing carefree despite the ongoing legal troubles.
Antonio Brown’s extradition to the U.S. highlights the serious legal challenges he faces regarding the Miami shooting case, with a murder charge possible in the upcoming trial.
