Hydro One Selects AtkinsRéalis to Expand Key Substation for Toronto Power

AtkinsRéalis Group Inc. (TSX: ATRL), a leading global engineering and nuclear services company, has been chosen by Hydro One Networks Inc. for a multi-year Owner's Engineer role to expand the Bowmanville Switching Station.

The substation, located opposite the Darlington Nuclear Generating Station, will support the grid connection for four planned Small Modular Reactors (SMRs) by Ontario Power Generation at the nearby Darlington New Nuclear Project site.
